- Type a country’s name. It counts as soon as it matches and turns green on the map; a country under another letter clears the box, with a note saying which letter it is under.
- Pause whenever you like. When the time is up, the lists below the map show what you named and what you missed.
About the countries that start with K
K has 6 countries: 1 in Africa, 3 in Asia, 1 in Europe and 1 in Oceania. The two Koreas aren’t here: this site calls them North Korea and South Korea, so they are under N and S.

Kazakhstan is the largest landlocked country in the world, and Kyrgyzstan is its neighbour to the south. Kiribati is the only country in all four hemispheres. Kuwait is on the Persian Gulf and Kenya on the equator. Kosovo is recognised by about half of the UN’s members; this site counts it, as in its other quizzes. “Kyrgyz Republic” counts for Kyrgyzstan.

A country is under the first letter of the name used on this site, ignoring accents, so the two Koreas are under N and S. The two Congos are both under C. Territories and dependencies aren’t answers, and land outside the quiz is shown in a lighter shade.
Spelling: capitals, accents, spaces and punctuation don’t matter, and well-known alternative names count.
The accepted alternative names appear here when your quiz ends, so they don’t give any answers away.
