About the countries that start with H

H has 3 countries: 1 in Europe and 2 in North America. Two names you might try aren’t answers here: Holland is accepted for a country under N, and the Holy See for one under V.

Which countries count

A country is under the first letter of the name used on this site, ignoring accents, so Holland and the Holy See, both accepted elsewhere, aren’t answers here. The two Congos are both under C. Territories and dependencies aren’t answers, and land outside the quiz is shown in a lighter shade.

Spelling: capitals, accents, spaces and punctuation don’t matter, and well-known alternative names count.
